Why I Built Darsi

Built by a teacherwho knows the classroom.

Hey, I'm Walid, an English teacher and developer from Morocco. I built Darsi because I know the work that goes into turning a textbook page into something a class can actually use.

Every week, teachers move between the textbook, lesson-plan documents, classroom activities, tests, and the practical details of their next lesson. Much of that work starts from the same place: a page already sitting in front of them. I wanted Darsi to begin there too, instead of asking teachers to start with a blank prompt and rebuild the classroom context themselves.

Moroccan English classrooms have their own levels, lesson types, frameworks, and everyday realities. Darsi is my attempt to make those details part of the workflow from the beginning, so a teacher can review the result, adapt it to the class, and keep the material ready for teaching.

This is a product built close to the work: for teachers who know their learners, know their textbook, and want technology to take care of repetitive preparation while they stay in control of the lesson.
